On September 10, 2005 Mommy finally decided that I needed a hair cut.  The curls were getting silly and my hair just kept getting longer.  Ninang Nancy recommended a place near our house.  She said that the place specialized in cutting kids' hair because they had race cars and Barbie cars for little kids to sit in.  We went on Saturday since we weren't sure how I was going to react to the scissors and the entire event.  Mommy and Daddy braced themselves and we walked into the place.  Mommy liked it immediately when she saw the little race car and the Jeep.  When we got to the place, there was a little boy who was sitting on the chair, on his uncle's lap and he was just crying and crying.  Mommy wasn't sure how I was going to react but she felt bad that the little boy was just crying so much.  When that lady finished the boy's haircut it was my turn.  Daddy decided it might be a good idea for me to sit on his lap because I might get scared.

The first thing the lady did was put this thing around Daddy's whole body and then she wrapped one with giraffes around my whole body.  She sprayed something on my head (Mommy thinks it was just water) and then held my hair with her other hand.

She began by cutting my big curls near my ears.  She saved them for my baby book.  After that, my head looked lots smaller.  No more flippies for the flippy gallery.

Next the lady began using this buzzing thing.  I wasn't really sure about that thing.  It kind of tickled but I wasn't exactly scared or anything... no not me!  I wasn't crying like the poor little boy before me.  The hairdresser lady was relieved that I wasn't crying and screaming.

Then she spent the rest of the time combing my hair and trying to get my bangs even and then shave off the hair tickling my ears.

It was quite an experience.  At the end, my hair was cut and I looked much fresher!
