I was born just a day before my expected due
date. I guess I thought I'd be a bit more on time than my
brother who was a bit more than 2 weeks early. The picture
at the top is the first picture of me. Daddy took it just
after I was born and just after the nurses cleaned me up.
I was pretty calm at that point. Then they started to poke
and prod me and I got more and more upset.

After they cleaned me up, they finally
put me with Mommy. They were kind of concerned and wanted
to check me out because I'd been so active while Mommy was in labor
that my cord kind of got wrapped around my neck. They wanted
to make sure I was breathing okay and that I didn't do anything
bad to myself. So, it took a few minutes before they'd let
me get to Mommy. But then I was in heaven and got to rest
a bit.

Then Daddy and Grandma Aurora got
to hold me for a while:

Then we got a family picture.
First with just the three of us and then with Kuya Liam. Unfortunately,
Kuya Liam wasn't interested in taking pictures at that moment so
he was escaping as the picture took.

Mommy and I spent 2 days in the hospital so she
could get better and rest up. I got to breathe fresh air on
Sunday just around lunchtim. It was warm outside but not as
bad as the day after I was born. Mommy said that we were having
a 'heat wave'. This was funny to her because they were also
having a heat wave the same weekend that Kuya Liam was born 2 years
ago... weird, huh?
I had a tough morning the day we went home.
They nurses and doctors poke you all the time when you're supposed
to be resting. They want to take your temperature, take your blood
and give you medicine. But in the morning before we left,
a man in a big white coat came by and poked and squeezed my foot
5 times for some test and then a nice lady came by and took me to
a small room with Daddy. Let's just say I cried and got a
little gauze wrapped up in my diaper. I wasn't very happy
at that point but Daddy made me feel better. There were so
many things to do before we could leave but when we did, I was locked
into my carseat and happy to be going home!
